Dr Emma Pennie
Dr. Emma is our Principal Dentist. She qualified in 2009 from the prestigious King’s College in London. She emigrated to Perth in 2017, where she has worked in private practice along with spending a day a week teaching dental students at UWA for several years.
Dr. Emma founded Trinity Dental in 2020, growing it from an empty clinic to the thriving practice it is today. She practices all aspects of general dentistry but has a particular passion for oral surgery, including dental implants and extractions—earning her the title of “extraction queen” of the practice. She works closely with a sedationist to help anxious patients feel more comfortable during treatment.
Dr. Emma believes in a good work-life balance and, outside of work, enjoys CrossFit, being outdoors, and spending time with her daughter, Millie.
Dr Ann-Marie Potts
Dr Ann Marie graduated from the University of Liverpool UK in 1995 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She worked for 20 years in the North of England and for 15 of those years she dedicated her working life establishing a successful family dental practice. After selling her practice she moved to Perth in 2015. Dr Ann Marie enjoys working at Trinity Dental where she can provide personal attention to each and every patient. She is focused on providing patients with painless and high-quality treatments with a personable and caring approach.
She is married and has 4 wonderful children that keep her very busy outside of work, but also provide her with a level of understanding and compassion towards dentistry in children and understands the importance of this from a young age. In 2015 after 2 years of study she achieved a postgraduate certificate in restorative dentistry from the British Academy of Restorative Dentistry. Dr Potts continues to develop her professional knowledge of dentistry as a proud member of the Australian Dental Association. Dr Potts brings a warmth to Trinity Dental that shows patients we are always there for them and genuinely care. Outside of her busy work hours and being a mum, Dr Potts relishes in physical activity such as playing golf, swimming, and going to the gym.
Dr Mildred Ortiz Solarte
Dr. Mildred has been a qualified dentist since 1995, graduating from the Colombian Dental School. She later pursued postgraduate studies in Chile, earning a Specialist degree in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry with Distinction and Honours from the University of Chile in 2000. She worked in Chile’s private health system for 15 years and lectured in Dentistry at the University Diego Portales for 10 years.
In 2016, Dr. Mildred moved to Perth and had her qualifications recognised by the Australian Dental Council. Her academic experience led her to serve on the Council’s Assessment Committee.
With over 16 years of experience, she is known for delivering high-quality, personalised dental care. She has a special interest in minimally invasive dentistry, smile enhancement, and caring for anxious patients. Dr. Mildred regularly attends training courses to stay current with the latest advancements.
Outside of dentistry, she’s a dog lover who enjoys long walks, Pilates, and yoga.
Diane
Practice Manager
As a dedicated Dental Practice Manager with 26 years of experience in the dental industry, Diane excels in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for both staff and patients.
Having worked as both a dental assistant and front office co-ordinator over the years Diane is passionate about patient satisfaction and care.
When not at work Diane loves to spend her days at the beach with her husband and 3 children.
